Who we are: Happy Hardens Ministries, LLC (“PrayerRipple”, “we”, “us”, “our”)

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using PrayerRipple’s mobile app and web admin portal.

1) Information We Collect

• Account info you provide: name, display name, email, password, avatar (optional).
• Content you create: prayer requests, praise reports, comments, shares, community memberships/roles.
• Technical data: device/app info, IP address, log data (for security and troubleshooting).
• Push tokens: Expo push notification tokens associated with your account.
• Payments (web admin only): Square processes your payment. We do not store full card numbers; we may store transaction IDs/customer references from Square.

We do not sell user data or show third-party ads. The mobile app is free to use.

2) How We Use Information

• Provide and improve app features (prayer posts, sharing, communities).
• Authenticate users and administer communities (including premium features).
• Send push notifications you opt into (e.g., prayer shares, updates).
• Keep our services secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3) Sharing & Processors

We don’t share data outside the app for advertising or marketing. We use limited third parties as processors:

• Square (payments for web admin subscriptions).
• Expo Push Notifications (to deliver push messages to your device).
• Standard infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting, email support) as needed to run the service.

4) Cookies & Similar Tech

• Web admin portal: may use essential cookies/session storage for login and billing; no advertising cookies.
• Mobile app: does not use third-party ad trackers.

5) Analytics

We do not currently use a third-party analytics provider. If we add one in the future, we’ll update this policy and explain what’s collected and how to opt out (where available).

6) Data Location

We currently store and process data in the United States. Your data may be processed by our service providers in other locations consistent with this policy and applicable law.

7) Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period (e.g., within 30 days), subject to limited backups and legal obligations.

8) Your Choices & Rights

• Content visibility: choose who sees your prayers (friends, communities, global/anonymous).
• Notifications: control push notification settings in the app/OS.
• Access/Update/Delete: access, correct, or delete your info in the app/portal or by contacting us.
• Region-specific rights: If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights (access, deletion, correction, portability). Contact us to exercise them.

9) Children’s Privacy

PrayerRipple isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we’ll provide a notice (e.g., in-app, website) and update the “Effective Date.”
