1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the PrayerRipple mobile app or web admin portal (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide accurate registration information (email or phone, display name, password).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• PrayerRipple may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior, or attempts to harm the Service or its users.

3. User Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create, including prayers, praise reports, comments, images, and other contributions (“User Content”).

By posting or uploading User Content, you grant PrayerRipple a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and share your content within the Service as intended.

Content Standards

You agree not to upload or share:

• Harassing, hateful, or threatening content.
• Sexual, violent, or explicit material.
• Spam, scams, or misleading content.
• Copyrighted content you do not have permission to share.
• Images or text that impersonate another person.

We reserve the right to moderate, restrict, or remove content that violates these rules. Moderation may involve human review and automated systems.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the platform.
• Scrape or harvest user data.
• Use automated tools or bots without authorization.
• Send unsolicited messages, promotions, or advertisements.

5. Permissions & Access

The mobile app may request the following permissions:

• Camera — used only when you choose to take a new photo to attach to a prayer.
• Photo Library / Media — used only to select specific images for uploads.
• Location (optional) — used for nearby prayer activity and timezone-related features.
• Notifications — used to send updates you explicitly opt into (prayer shares, replies, reminders, etc.).

These permissions are never used for advertising or data tracking. Granting them is optional, except when specific features require them.

6. Payments & Premium Features

• Premium community administration features are billed monthly.
• Payments are securely processed through Square.
• Subscription fees are based on your community usage during the prior month.
• All payments are non-refundable.
• Premium features may be suspended for non-payment or delinquency.
• You may cancel premium features at any time from the admin portal.

7. SMS Authentication & Communication

If you register or log in with a mobile number, PrayerRipple will send SMS verification codes (OTP) to confirm your identity or verify account changes.

These messages are sent only in response to your actions and are never used for marketing. Message and data rates may apply.

Because SMS codes are required to access your account, opt-out is not available except by removing your phone number or deleting your account.

8. Content Moderation & Community Safety

PrayerRipple is a faith-based prayer community. To keep the platform safe:

• We may remove content that violates community standards.
• We may restrict or remove accounts that post harmful, abusive, or deceptive content.
• We may cooperate with legal authorities if required by law.

9. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting support.
• Upon deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
• We may suspend or delete accounts immediately for violations of these Terms, content misuse, fraud, or harassment.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees about:

• uninterrupted access,
• data accuracy,
• user behavior or content,
• outcomes of prayers or spiritual results.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Hardens Ministries, LLC is not liable for:

• indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages,
• data loss,
• unauthorized access caused by third parties.

In all cases, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms as needed. Changes will be posted in the app and on this website. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
